DR is 6 ================================================================================ Urs, I've always thought The Whole Love is one of the better sounding downloads I have, and the DR for it is similarly low, if I recall correctly. So I would withhold judgment on the basis of DR alone, and ask: How does it sound to you? Lame and compressed? Or pretty good? I don't care that much for a Wilco, but love the sound of that album. Urs Posted October 15, 2014 Author Share Posted October 15, 2014 You're both right... I posted to fast. I did not yet listen (was too late in the evening), I was just annoyed by the "DR6". I will listen this evening, compare it against the CD and report back. I agree, DR is just one criteria. I also have several albums, which have an "8" and sound excellent. Though I cannot recall an album with a DR6, sounding good to my ears. But enough number crunching... Link to comment

I am using HD800 headphones (balanced cabling), Headamp GS-X mk2 headphone amp, Resonessence Invicta DAC. Link to comment
