Just noticed i had dop selected in settings while I have dsd selected in my Rendu. Changed it and now it works ok. Sorry Jussi.

Jussi so to  fix my problem I select none in the   None/Dop in Settings dropdown box. But even though I save it keeps reverting back to DOP

I have inquirees into the Sonore link (no response yet) but Miska maybe you have some input on this. I turn on my dac then Hqp but I show no connectivity to my dac in Hqp settings. I go into the Mysonicorbiter site and when I try to click on Manage within My S... it shows cant open site error. Any ideas?

Ok guys I am new to this driver. Tried downloading and when I try to play all my music files disappear from HQP which I think means ...'cant use this'. What am I missing?

I downloaded the new HQP version 470(available 9/1/20) and it runs but then locks up with no ability to play music. I then went back to a prior version (460) and it stops running too. What is going on?

Wel my pc locked too and won’t boot up. I think I have a pc problem

I know that my problem is not Hqp but I am having trouble maintaining connectivity in my system. I run HQP through Naa to my router (brand new) to a fiber optic system then back to Ethernet then to a switch then to the Ethergen then to a MicroRendu then usb to my dac. When working it sounds wonderful. But since it does not  work often lately I have gone directly from pc to usb to usb Regen to dac. 

 

With myformer connection path path I am getting connection interruption if I can boot it up at all. When booting I turn on the dac first then Hqp and the opposite direction when shutting down. I try rebooting ether Regen, microRendu, pc, and even the router. But more often then not it will not boot. 

 

 

Any ideas?

Hqp stopped and when I tried to boot back up...it doesn't. So I thought maybe HQP got corrupted so I uninstalled then reinstalled latest version and it still wont boot up. Help.

I did not try Lloyd disc but I just switched back to 4.9 and wow this is the one...upper midrange is divine. I dont how many old timers are here from the famous cics cply/cmp days but once cics made the comment that sq was affected by the way (order) the source code was compiled. So Jussi maybe we have that situation here.

So I am interested in HQP OS. Is it as simple as downloading it from the site to a usb stick then setting your pc to boot from the thumb drive? Also what is the name of the HQP OS file? I went there but could not id the file. Oh can I run HQP into a sonic orbiter ?

Whenever I update to a new hqp version I go into my hqp file and enter Uninstall and then install the new version. However sometime the hqp Uninstall command is missing there so  I goto Windows Control Panel and uninstall hqp from there. But uninstalling from Windows and then installing the new version Leaves out the library and settings data from the new hqp and it wont run. In the past Jussi showed me where these files are located so I could copy/paste from the old version into the new version. But I forgot where this was. one finds it by simply entering in windows explorer. Anybody know this location? Reason I need it is the Uninstall command is missing i my current hqp file.

Working fine here. Trying to assess sound improvements.

I am on the new version and I love it. I can get ASDM5ECv2 with Sinc M filter. Cpu ultilization at 60-70%. Sonically the tonal center of gravity of the soundstage is lower with greater dynamics better bass and more extension. Best  upgade yet. Way to go Jussi!

So Jussi (or frankly anyone else) I tried to do Qobuz and was able to easily follow your direction to get on Qobuz but every track only ran for 30 seconds and not the full length. Then after running 2 or 3 tracks it would just shut off. I assumed I had a Qobuz not an Hqp issue. I submitted a question to Qobuz and after intially responding I could not get any further

response from them. Do you know anybody at Qobuz who can handle my issue?

I figured out my issue and am now running qobuz successfully with hqp client. I did not choose a qobuz  plan 1st,  once I did I am off and running.

How do I do an artist search in Qobuz in the Client? Btw sonics from Qobuz in Hqp really exceeds my expectations. Well done Hqp and Qobuz.
