Thanks for posting this. I have a pair, and the have transported me to stratospheric highs the like of which no human has ever experienced before and / or are a devastating let down. The world should be told.

The sad thing is, it isn't just the celebrity sites or the sites that do announcements and not real reviews. A lot of real review sites report completely contradictory results reviewing the same headphone. I found 3 reputable U.K. review sites for the Philips M1. One site reported it to have "bright" highs, another that it was very neutral, and a third site said the highs were very recessed. I asked Philips about it on their Facebook site (for the second time actually), and they finally responded that they were "forwarding my questions" to higher ups at Philips. So even they don't have a handle on what's going on.
