aks434
Hi,
I downloaded hi res files specified here as well as from 2L site. The latter play beautifully thru a USB drive directly attached to Onkyo 708. But the former files don't play. I believe both are 24bit/96KHz. What am I missing?

Another question. I am planning to join sound society of B&W. Are those files all 24bit/96Hz? Somewhere on this site I read they are not. On B&W site, I don't find any info to confirm. I know I should call them and find out but just asking here if someone knows.

Thanks for the help. Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
The HRx files are 24/176.4 sample rate. According to the manual of your receiver on page 63-64 only files at 24/96 and under can be played. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
Also, the B&W files I've used are either 44.1 or 48 kHz. They will play on your receiver just fine. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

Songtower
Hello, Quite unfortunately it appears the download links are past their time and no longer operational. Perhaps a re-up is possible? I'm quite curious to hear the recordings in lieu of the aforementioned comments.. Link to comment
