Hello, Fairly new to this and would like your recommendations please. I have the KEF LS50 Wireless and would like to build a streaming system around them. I am using Roon on a MacBook Pro with quality USB cable direct. The computer will need to go away. (It's my wife's). So....I would like a computerless solution to running ROON. Thinking NUC to Sonore MicroR. Raspberry Pi? Would a one box solution suit me? ELAC Discovery? Aurilic, OPPO Sonica (would require a streamer yes?). NAS with Roon core? I do not have too much stored music but plan to change that. My budget is under $2K. I thought about Chord MOJO w/Poly but not liking the idea of going analog out from the MOJO back to digital for the KEF's. I guess that's a concern of mine--not going to ananlog needlessly. Help Would be very appreciated... Much Thanks and Respect in advance. Tony

Hi Guys, 1st post and longtime lurker. This is a FANTASTIC site and I appreciate all of the expertise. For one of my systems, I want to use Tidal w/o a HTPC. To accomplish this, I am demoing the new Bel Canto REF Stream asynchronous ethernet renderer (see REFStream - e.One by Bel Canto ). For the record, it sounds gorgeous and it is a keeper. The reclocking added sonic value. The bonus is it streams with ease. I diverge.... Anyways, Bel Canto recommended I get the licensed version of Bubble UPnP for the Android. I bought a cheap Asus Android and it was a piece of cake to set-up. I am finally thoroughly delighted with the SQ of Tidal steaming and easy of use. My question is, what sort of UPnP programs are people using with the iPad/iOS? I prefer to stick with one tablet platform. Thanks! Sincerely, Steve

I am planning to again start using my B&W DM603 S3s (old, I know, but I have always enjoyed them). My Rotel finally bit the dust after many years of service. I am starting to do my own research, but thought I would see if anyone has a suggestion for a capable, but good-value-for-money amp to use with these speakers. I really don't know anything about amps/receivers. Here are the specs from an old Stereophile review B&W DM603 S3 loudspeaker | Stereophile.com: Description: "2½"-way vented-box loudspeaker. Drive-units: 1" (25mm) aluminum-dome tweeter, 6.5" (165mm) woven-Kevlar cone bass/midrange, 6.5" (165mm) aluminum-cone woofer. Crossover frequencies: 150Hz, 4kHz. Frequency response: 44Hz–22kHz, ±3dB on reference axis. Frequency range: –6dB at 34Hz and 42kHz. Dispersion within 2dB of response on reference axis: over 40° arc horizontal, over 10° arc vertical. Sensitivity: 90dB/2.83V/m. Impedance: 8 ohms nominal, 3 ohms minimum. Power handling: 25–150W into 8 ohms on unclipped program. Harmonic distortion: second and third harmonics, <1%, 55Hz–20kHz (90dB SPL, 1m). Maximum recommended cable impedance: 0.1 ohm. Thanks!
