Sasaki
FOSTEX reveals new DAC/headphone amp HP-A8 this past weekend. The highlight of the A8 is native DSD playback. Look at the LCD screen on the picture. http://www.fostex.jp/news/194 However A8 does not take DSD stream from PC, instead A8 employs SD card slot on the back panel. A8 read DSF file in the SD card and playback music without converting PCM. DAC chip is AKM. They told the native DSD playback from the PC is under consideration. blog: http://vaiopocket.seesaa.net/ Link to comment
