Today I received some feedback on a combination that a customer tested and is reorting works well. He is using 8 channels with DSP crossover to DSP active speakers, including room correction. The diagnostics he provided showed that he was streaming 32 bits @ 192kHz. microRendu with SO 2.9 - USB - Focusrite 18i20 Gen 3 This device is feature packed and only 600 USD...you got to love pro gear!
