Hi Brad, as I understand it, the issue here is that your synology NAS doesn’t have the ability, out of the box, to run a web browser and thus download files direct to the NAS. Plus you don’t want to also run a pc etc just to download and then transfer to NAS. I know nothing about NAS (I just use a PC as my music server) but as I understand it a NAS is just a specialised PC, so there should be a way to do what you want to do. The link I posted above is to “Download Station” - a Synology app that would seem to allow you to do what you want. What you want to do seems eminently reasonable to me and there’s got to be a way. You could try what I suggested or maybe there is a Synology forum you can ask at. - e.g “how do I run a web browser on Synology NAS to download files and control this process from my iPad” Link to comment
