it does, but regurgitating information is something vastly different than intelligence, with intelligence I'd expect that system to come back with new ideas rather than coughing up a synopsis of existing information.

A database will keep all the info, a query allows a selection to be drawn, does it become intelligence when the query is adaptable?

comparing AI to google is a bit far off, anything coming out of Google is HEAVILY biased, who pays most gets spit out as 'search hit' most other hits are ignored. To the point where it has become almost utterly useless.

 

Until AI is capable of drawing conclusions and new ideas I'd look at it as a convenient interface for querying a database, I dread the day these results are influenced by commercial interests...it will come...
