Your fanless solution for the Mac Mini M1 is excellent. I'm buying an MMM1 for use with HQPLAYER + Roon Server, I'm going to install an external linear font and I'm also studying options to make it fanless (the solution proposed in this thread seems difficult for me to implement).
 

I thought of using an external fan like this and leaving the cover under the MM open.

I guess it will work with light filter. But this fan gonna vibrate so….

Well, there would be electrical isolation between the fan and the MM, but the vibration will be difficult to dissipate.

It's great to see that my Mac Mini is now running with the benefit of clean linear power, Etheregen-improved network and Singxer-SU6-improved USB to I2S...

Great stuff!

Inspired by this an other threads, I recently fitted the Teradak LPSU board on a base model M2 and hooked up a Farad Super 3, it's quite an upgrade!  

I also decided to try simply removing the fan before anything more radical. I'm not doing anything CPU intensive (HQ Player upsampling etc). It runs fine without, though if there is an SQ uplift, it is less obvious than the PSU change.
