"Audiophile" Motherboard For HTPC

Hi guys, i am trying to build a small form factor home theater PC. With audio quality in mind, which of these 2 motherboards would be the better option? Any advice/insight members can offer would be very helpful. Thank you.

Not the answer you are looking for but it is an answer to consider: There is no such thing as an Audiophile motherboard.

 

Also you didn't state your intent and what you want to accomplish. So with that out of the way I would recommend a low power, passively cooled, solution:

 

ASRock J5040-ITX. It's quad core pentium based board for $115. No additional CPU to purchase.

 

No fans to cool the CPU. You can get a silent SeaSonic power supply. Less power draw from the Mainboard means a larger choice of power supplies that will work.
