frank74
Hi All - Great forum ! I have a 2010 Macbook Pro. Currently with hiface/amarra into the dac of my naim supernait. I am wanting to get a SSD for the OSX. And then a Buffalo Linkstation Pro NAS for my 500GB+ itunes library. It seems this is the way to go. Can anyone recommend a good SSD for the macbook, please? (I am thinking that 64GB will suffice). Are the new "Intel X25-E" worth the extra outlay?, or would this simply be overkill? Secondly, I have a apple timecapsule, can I attach the NAS to the timecapsule (USB) and stream itunes (without any sound degradation) to my system? I hope that I'm understanding the concepts correctly here?, any advice is welcomed. Regards Frank Link to comment
jp11801
I've got a kingston 120 gb in my 2008 mbp and a 120 owc in my mac mini. I've just jettisoned the drobo and may only use it as a very expensive back up and am looking at the best of the 2tb drives instead. I'm using the rocstor at the moment but it seems to run even after I shut the mini down. Link to comment
