cgbissett
I have had my iMac for a week now, and I would like to load Windows 7 onto it, using bootcamp. I believe the first step is updating bootcamp on my Mac. I currently have version 3.0.2. My questions are: 1: Do I need to update to 3.1 first and then 3.2? 2: Do I just download the correct version into OS X and open and install as normal on the Mac? The Computer Audiophile
Hi Craig - Use Mac Software Update to make sure you have all the updates. Then simply launch the Boot Camp app in the Utilities folder and it will guide you through everything with printable instructions. Once Windows is installed you can update Boot Camp on Windows if needed. Apple will install Software Update on Windows that will deliver the newest version for you. cgbissett
Hi Chris, I completed a software update when I received my iMac on Monday. I have just checked again and it states there aren't any updates available. However when I check the bootcamp info it states Version 3.0.2, the apple website shows 3.2. Perhaps this is the same version, what do you think? Cheers Craig C G Bissett Link to comment
