Scrolling 3200 albums (38 400 songs) in Covers view still lag for me, spinning wheel.

if i upsample while music is playing, it will stutter, tic... the song while continuing playing till the covers refresh...

 

it always refresh when clicking a playlist or coming back to the library...

shouldn't the covers be in cache somewhere to accelerate the refreshing process instantly ?  v3.2 was fast always.

Issue #1:

I get no sound if either Audio Units or Upsampling is enabled (Izotope or Sox), or any combination of the two.  If I disable both Audio Units and Upsampling, music plays.

 

I have quite a few Audio Unit plugins I use, though only one at a time.  Not being able to use them would be a deal breaker.

 

The same plugins work perfectly in 3.2, just tested it.  So does the upsampling scheme, no issue.

 

Issue #2

Beta 20 jumbles the track list order in my iTunes playlists.  3.2 displays them correctly.

 

I see that version 21 has been released, but when I go to the A+ website, version 20 remains the one that downloads.

 

Help would be appreciated!

The 3 buttons don't light up always... but are fonctionning...

if i click the green one to go fullscreen, the yellow one doesn't work to hide the software,

have to reclick the green button. Escape button on keyboard doesn't out of fullscreen...

@damien78 i saw that the name of Audirvana changed and we have now two differents pref files in the system... i just deleted the Audirvana Plus plist file to keep the new Audirvana plist.

 

Restart, it ask for my serial number and i lost all the prefs i've made, in Software and DAC settings, but all my playlists were still there. Not long to put back prefs, just to let you know

Delete all folders you have in prefs panel for music. Shut down Audirvana. Restart Mac. Restart Audirvana, it will ask for music folder if not, tell him where and see...

You can try trashing is preferences:

 

Close Audirvana.

 

Apple hide the Home Folder in User Library at some time depending on OS System... When you have clicked your Home Folder, and cannot see the Library Folder in there, just do a ''cmd J'' to show the folder settings preferences and see at the bottom... click Show Library Folder and then you'll have access to the rest forever.
 
Go to the Main Library Folder... PrivilegedHelperTools folder...
Trash All the files in that folder from A+ (that folder install SysOptimizer)
Go to the Main Library Folder... LaunchDaemons Folder...
Trash All the files in that folder from A+ (SystemOptimizer and prefs files)

 

Restart Mac. Restart Audirvana, it should ask to install SystemOptimizer at first track playing.

All working good here, like it was before upgrade.

 

Try closing your Mac.

Trash the Audirvana App from your iPad.

Restart (not just closing it) your iPad.

Re download the Remote App.

Open Your Mac and Audirvana..

Open the remote on your iPad,

it should ask for a 4 digits number to load it...

Yes, Direct Mode still works on the latest macOS 10.14.5 beta 4 just released.

and Audirvana 3.5.6 latest too. For better sound or not, you'll have to decide on that point

I'm not that good on that question...

but i would guess that your driver as nothing to do with Direct Mode for Audirvana, you just need it for playing music on you Mac... with JRiver or HQplayer for example... then if you use Audirvana with it, and want Direct mode enable in Mojave or after El Capitan, you would still need the hack for it... my guess
