NAS Newbie needs recommendation

As many have said, RAID does not provide backup. Rather, it provides redundancy so you can continue to operate until you replace the failed drive. What a lot of people don't realize, however, is that if you accidentally delete a file or data, it will be deleted on both drives of a RAID setup - another reason to back up a NAS on external drives.
