Spacemen_3
Hello, I would like to know, is the Asus Xonar hdav 1.3 bit perfect? It is my understanding that when the card was first released it was not capable of bit perfect playback. However, reading some more recent sites, it appears there may be an updated driver that does allow bit perfect streaming (?). I prefer this card as it will allow DTS pass through for blu ray movies from my computer. However, I would also like to use it to pass through bit perfect audio to my stereo. I am running Windows 7 and intend to use J. River as a music player (which I understand is capable of bit perfect output). Any input and guidance is welcomed. Thanks, Marty Link to comment

Spacemen_3
Chris, Appreciate the quick reply and help! I guess I'll be going with this card. I haven't found anything else that will pass DTS and also bit perfect audio through HDMI. Kind Regards, Martin Link to comment
