rtrautner
In reading Chris' excellent FAQ's, I recognized that my iTunes plays with the volume showing zero. When the slider is moved to the right, it adds a second version of the currently playing tune, slightly behind but simultaneous to the current version. If I slide it to the max before playing the tune, it immediately reverts to zero when the tune begins to play. I can't seem to find a way to override this through preferences, Audio Midi, etc. Is this a common problem? Is it really a problem? If so, any thoughts about how to remedy it? Thanks! Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
Hi Rick - Are you using Amarra? If so then the iTunes volume should be at zero. This is an important item I need to add to the FAQ. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

Hey Chris, To be specific, Amarra should be setting the iTunes volume to zero for you when you pop Amarra in or out of bypass/iTunes mode. If not, then something is wrong with the setup and you should e-mail Sonic Studio support. That said, a common cause of this behavior is not letting Amarra launch iTunes. Always quit iTunes before launching Amarra and let Amarra launch and then control iTunes for you. Regards, ______________________________________________ O.A.
