So I just signed up for the one week trial.

It's a bit confusing during setup, you have to search around a bit for the site to find the player software. Then the software isn't done by a Mac certified developer so you have to get to some minor security changes.

Now it's playing (starting randomly with Sophie Pacini "In Between"), and my DAC confirms receiving 96khz.

So far so good. I'll see a bit more how convenient the streaming app is, it looks fine so far.

However, my big downside is that HRA streaming doesn't integrate with Audirvana yet, unlike Qobuz and Tidal, so far I still can only access my HRA purchased titles through the separate HRA file vault in A+, but nothing else of the streaming catalog. Therefore, no Iphone remote either. That's a bummer.

Tomorrow I'll have some more time and will do some critical listening of the same highres album streamed from Qobuz/Audirvana plus vs. HRA with their own app, and see how much catalog is out there at HRA.

Thanks a lot for detailing your experience. Very much appreciated. I believe Audirvana integration is forthcoming..?

Look forward to your reports.

I'd hope so, in a press release they stated their partnership with Audirvana is maintained. I presume Damien is quite busy with the Windows version, the bottleneck may well be on his side.

Could be.

Since the service has been live for literally days, I would say you can hope to expect improvements in user experience, search,

and integration sooner than later.

Okay guys. Had to use a VPN to sign up for the free trail, but the app appears to launch, login and stream fine without the VPN.

Initial impression seems to be very good SQ. Unscientific and possibly wrong reaction is that it's superior to Tidal. Might be because the albums seem to be curated, and generally HighResAudio deals with audiophile music.

Unfortunately it's buggy. It's crashed twice on me so far, it only supports Windows mixer or ASIO, and ASIO seems to sometimes fail to work between albums.

thanks for the feedback.
