studio monitor recommendation

I really like Presonus R65, it has RCA connections as well. Very smooth and dynamic, works well directly from iFi Micro iDSD, nano IDSD and Heed Abacus DAC/C100 preamp. Could be used in a near field and in a mid filed listening as well.

Beside my really loved Presonus R65, I got a chance to try a new PMC Result6 active monitor on my desk last week-end. 

If you have the budget, and want a perfect desktop monitor, look no further it is really marvelluous. Sounds very clean even  in the bass region, has more air than anything else I tried, has punch and smoothness, it can be really loud and sounds bloody good even with youtube videos. I tried it with a Kenneth Lau DC powered Merging Hapi/Premium DSD DAC board and a Heed Abacus DAC/C100 preamp. There is absolutely nothing to criticize (except the price probably), force you to listen complete cds not tracks, has a "flow" and coherence.  I ordered one pair and a will order another pair a bit later.
