It doesn’t. Not sure how you fit 6TB of music on a 2TB drive?

what am I missing?

A music server should be around for a long time, and a music libary does tend to go. At the moment, the disk size of my library is just under 3TB, 2.46TB. An allowance of at least double for the future should be taken into account. The largest drive Innuous offers is 4TB, that won't fit plans. Roon has the ability to collect data from multiple shares on the network or attached drives to the server. From really early days, Gordon Rankin recommended to store music files on a 'large pipe' as he called it, PCIe is such a pipe. Ethernet, USB Drives are smaller pipes, the main problem with them is extra noise transmissions and reliability of portable drives for 24/7 use in plastic enclosures that cook drives rather than cool them.

Hello, just to let you know incompatibility between Zentih MK2 and USB/SPDIF interface Mutec MC3+ USB. Both company are aware but seems difficult to find some solutions.

Incompatibility depends also on the USB cable used. Some solutions could come from 5V USB power supply from AQvox for example. Innuos mentioned the ifi Purifier 2 but did not test.

The MC-3+USB takes a 'lot' from the 5V rail to power the internal USB interface and may pull down the Innuous rail enough to stop data delivery. Perhaps an iDefender that just supplies 5V 1A might be the shot or the AQVOX you already mentioned. The problem with the Defender is the 5V micro USB connector to power the device, is on the side of the Defender case and takes up an adjacent USB port, so that port becomes unusable. This maybe critical for your situation.

On one computer, I had to use the USB 3.0 port to power the MC3-USB, the USB 2.0 port just messed about with detection, let alone working. Luckily the (Windows) driver worked plus the higher power delivery of the USB 3.0 port.
