ted_b
I understand. Will your M1 (or whatever) also have an NAA, or are you going direct? "We're all bozos on this bus"....F.T. ted_b
I notice that the "AVX512 disable" is enabled. Seems logical to conclude that AVX512 is off? "We're all bozos on this bus"....F.T. ted_b
Or as I’ve also said in previous posts, grab a 512 version of an existing (in your library) NativeDSD pick. It’s what we use (Pro at 512 and adsmec7). "We're all bozos on this bus"....F.T. ted_b
So my i7-6700k Win10 machine died. I "simply" now want to do DSD1024 up-modulating from DSD files (not PCM, I like my May's 1.5Mhz PCM sound, for now). Is there a prebuilt, somewhat-off-the-shelf Win11 computer (NUC, desktop, tower) I can buy that will do DSD64 to DSD1024 (doesn't need to be ECv2) out of the box? I use an NAA and don't really care how noisy the box is, it's not in my audio room. "We're all bozos on this bus"....F.T. ted_b
Jussi, I know this has been asked before but I can't recall the answer: if I have no interest in any PCM-to-DSD upsampling/upmodulating, simply getting PCM to 1.5xMhz (something my dead i7-6700k with no addtl GPU easily did during its life) and getting DSD to DSD1024, then do I concentrate on, simply, processor speed, with little regard for GPU? Asked another way, is DSD to DSD1024 more or less difficult than PCM to DSD1024? "We're all bozos on this bus"....F.T.
