Joshua_j
Hi everyone, quick question about boot camp versus parallels. Is there a reason why one couldn't use parallels when ripping a library? Or is itbest to just use boot camp? Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
Hi Joshua_j - I used both Parallels and boot camp to rip. Running Windows under Parallels was a disaster when ripping. The amount of time increased greatly. However, some here have said it worked fine for them. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
shigzeo
I'd definitely stay with Bootcamp if that is your mutton - it is less stressing on the CPU and faster, much faster than devoting half your CPU to a virtual environment. TouchMyApps headphones reviews Link to comment
Joshua_j
Thank you everyone for taking the time to comment. As luck would have it, I just bought my wife a new 15" macbook pro. I get her 2 year old 15" macbook pro. So I am about to really venture into the computer audio side...... Joshua Link to comment
