I have never had this question. The software switch in the sonicTransporter passes all packets so there are no issues with HQplayer at all. Also customer with this setup are running HQPlayer on the server!! This gives them a direct like to the NAA player device with no switches in between. This works very well AND allows for complete optical isolation between the server and player. This results in amazing sound from your DAC. Our servers and players are designed for HQPlayer and we do extensive testing to make sure they work really well. agillis Small Green Computer http://www.smallgreencomputer.com/ Link to comment

It would be much faster to just order the key directly from @Miska I have some nice instructions on how to install HQplayer on a sonicTransporter and also how to get the key you need. http://sonicorbiter.com/docs/hqplayer_setup agillis Small Green Computer http://www.smallgreencomputer.com/ Link to comment

All the links on that page are working. Upgrades are handled through Signalyst. agillis Small Green Computer http://www.smallgreencomputer.com/ Link to comment

We never sold the license directly only with new hardware and it was only slightly lower then Signalyst not 30%. agillis Small Green Computer http://www.smallgreencomputer.com/ Link to comment
agillis
At that point you are already on sonicorbiter.com so you can probably figure out how to get to sonicoribter.com!! But I'll check and see why that goes to a 404 -Andrew agillis Small Green Computer http://www.smallgreencomputer.com/ Link to comment
