ALIX Project

Chris, why not turn the alix project into a member project! Being linux and all:) I have pages of notes on researched I conducted for a usb audio output project. It was based on ubuntu and MPd. Im sure others have additional data. I also have some friends that might be interested in pitching in.

 

An open source project for the forum...how cool is that!

thanks for the links! I'll spend some time reading them in the following days and for sure I will have some questions. I have a linux pc build this week that I can use as the server and might be able to use a pc for the client. I have always been interested in this, but did not have a bud to help with it and it also takes a bunch of time as you know. The part that bugs me is not knowing where all these commands come from....hehehe. Lets keep in touch! I would like to try it with one of the inexpensive usb units.
