PPA red SATA cable

Bought this cable, installed (mobo to SSD) and my computer went berserk... Booting, transferring and all sorts of other problems. I have heard few other people experienced the same with custom SATA cables. Any ideas?

Return it under warranty ? It would appear to have slipped through Paul's quality control.

In the meantime, replace it with the shortest possible SATA 3 6 GB/S cable which has 2 separate internal shielded cables ,instead of the generic SATA cables which have 7 wires side by side. You should be able to obtain one for under $10 including P&P.

How a Digital Audio file sounds, or a Digital Video file looks, is governed to a large extent by the Power Supply area. All that Identical Checksums gives is the possibility of REGENERATING the file to close to that of the original file.

Can you specify a brand and source for such a cable? Online listings I've seen do not typically provide a description of the construction or configuration of the wiring.

You can also obtain 25CM versions. The one attached is just a sample of what is available.
