The Computer Audiophile
This is a really interesting development. icebreaker
That article is a great find, Chris. There is so much irony in that story! Funny. Iovine and Dr. Dre are off to a great start with a wall of attention grabbing catch-phrases like "digital music ecosystem" and "take that doggy door and make it a garage door". One of the ambitious goals is to take a generation of bass slamming low rez lovin' rap music fans and turn them into young, buck Michael Fremers. These are trends that this site and others in the music biz have predicted would happen. And help from the rap/hip hop community and HP are more than appreciated. "The Times They Are A-Changin'... Come writers and critics Who prophesize with your pen And keep your eyes wide The chance won't come again And don't speak too soon For the wheel's still in spin And there's no tellin' who That it's namin'. For the loser now Will be later to win For the times they are a-changin'. " The great Bob Dylan with some "rap" about the music business. (Edit: to add Dylan quote) James[br] Link to comment
