Calling all Pioneer Elite "DSD capable" receiver owners

Recommended Posts

These are said to be DSD "Dop via ethernet" capable.

Could someone please confirm for me what file formats are streamable via ethernet from a UPnP server like MinimServer

MinimServer can transcode a DSD file "on the fly" to DoP..so can users stream a dsf or dff file straight to the Pioneer?

How about multichannel vs stereo?

Please test both PCM and DSD stereo and multichannel files.

Thanks

^ According to the manual of the SC- 77 and 79 it's just stereo only. And no mention of DSD or DoP at all via DLNA. Can anybody confirm? Cheers.

EU-version SC-LX87 streams DSD64 2ch and DSD128 2ch from NAS using DoP, but I tried with a Buffalo Linkstation DS420 4TB with pre-installed Twonky 7.

No multi-channel at this point.

You can also play DSD64 2ch and DSD128 2ch directly from a USB memory stick connected to the front.

Don't know about US/CDN-models but normally platform is same, just different model numbers.
