Need switch + access point

I need a switch (to connect my NAS and PS Audio PW Dac/Bridge to the wired network) and a wireless access point (so I can use my iPad as a control point in my listening room; I don't need, and don't want, wireless elsewhere in the house). I could buy two boxes, but I think the best solution is to get a wireless router and use it in bridge mode--I think that's the term. Is that right?

 

If so, I have read in various threads here that the routers sold for home use usually aren't very good quality; people seem to like the Apple Airport Extreme. Any other suggestions, given my specific needs?
