John
Could anyone tell me; is Front Row Bit-Perfect, running under Leopard? I know that, under older OS's, Front Row was merely a UI for iTunes, but under Leopard it does not use iTunes at all. Is it bit-perfect like iTunes and does it employ SRC in the same way, based on the midi settings at the time it is executed? Thanks - John. Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
Hi John - Front Row is bit perfect but I can't remember if it requires the same closing and reopening for every sample rate change like iTunes. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
John
That's good to know; thanks Chris. I just started playing with front row and it is a great interface for a small room system; connecting a Mac / Mini to the TV as a monitor. It even allows the Mac to double as a DVD player which can be controlled from the Mac remote. - John. Link to comment
