tevadar
I just bought a new Mac Mini to use as a music server. For now I have hooked up to my AV receiver via the digital optical output jack. When I go into the audio midi setting it does not display any output options. It says there are not output options for this device. Is this normal??? One thing that is a little bit concerning to me is that I can play 192k files. My AV receiver and my digital crossover are only capable of playing 96k files. I would think that I would hear nothing. I wonder if the Mac Mini is down sampling everything. Anyone else have a new mac mini??? Thanks, Tevadar Link to comment
