HQPlayer's Network Audio Adapter

We had some communication maybe 4 years ago (I don't remember exactly) about 'playback stream capture' feature of foo_upnp.
What we were asking for that time was to add one special mode which would close http stream on source content sample rate change and create a new stream at the new sample rate, thus following the source content sample rate. Miska confirmed that time that HQPlayer would restart playback when stream is closed and new stream is detected (with 'repeat track' player setting).

Although I don't know for which of your products the discussed feature is intended for: If you intend to add some compatibility with HQPlayer, such an 'adaptive' behavior would be welcome and HQPlayer users would appreciate it.

It's been a long time foo_upnp is not supported anymore.

Anyway, there is foo_out_upnp as a replacement to 'Playback Stream Capture', an official plugin by the foobar2000 dev. It behaves similar to what you describe, streaming foobar2000 audio output as a single PCM stream until samplerate/bitdepth changes in which case it plays a new stream to the renderer with the new samplerate/bitdepth.

Thanks, but it requires an UPnP Renderer - HQPlayer Desktop does not contain such, only HQPlayer Embedded.

Playback stream capture of foo_upnp is interesting for HQPlayer Desktop users, since it does not require UPnP renderer - one simply enters http URL for example http://192.168.0.178:56923/content/psc.wav into HQPlayer (like your Radio Paradise URL).

I don't know about a possibility to access foo_out_upnp stream using http URL without running an UPnP renderer.

That's the point why I am interested about your plans to provide more HQPlayer support. Many HQPlayer users find headless HQPlayer Embedded running only on Linux as too complicated for them or they don't want to run a separate computer for HQPlayer. From these reasons majority of HQPlayer users are using the Desktop version which lacks the UPnP renderer functionality. If you could add such an adaptive http stream feature to your product, it would be appreciated by HQPlayer community.
