I'm embarrassed posting the following as it seems pretty unplausible but I need help as I'm stuck. Setup is Server running Roon Core on Sonicorbiter (Audiostore Prestige 2 - very similar to SonicTransporter i7). MicroRendu as Roon Ready NAA Singxer SU-1 Directstream DAC. I was adding some music to the Server SSD and whilst playing around updated both the server and MicroRendu's names (for the network). Everything stopped working and it took me nearly two hours of messing around before any music played again. I have everything working except the SU-1. I can find the MicroRendu and play music to it. The SU-1's blue lights show it's playing. My Directstream DAC reacts to changes in the bit-rate. But it's totally silent. I plug the USB from the MicroRendu into the USB port on my Direcstream and hey presto I can now hear the music. I've tried resetting everything I can think of. Disabling roon DSP etc. Curiously neither the SU-1 or the DAC show that they are receiving DSD when I set Roon to output DSD. I figured it was something wrong with the setup in Roon in the MicroRendu so I changed it from Roon-Ready to DNLA and sent music to it from Bubble Upnp - but again totally silent at the DAC when going via the SU-1. Any ideas? I'm at a complete loss as to how a network device name change can have thrown my system so off kilter that the SU-1 or the Directstream are completely silent with I2S. Is there a way to do factory resets on the SU-1 or the MicroRendu to see if this resolves? Any helpful suggestions would be great. Many Thanks, Alan

I was excited for 2.6 and I've been checking every other day for over 2 months since its announcement but it's seems like the update has gone off the boil. At first MQA decoding was coming, now probably not. Is there an ETA or rough timeframe for SonicOrbiter OS 2.6 release? Is there a definite answer on MQA decoding being included? Cheers Pete

Hello, New to this great site! I am looking to upgrade my streamer soon and wanted to ask a couple questions. I currently have a 1st gen Cambridge Audio Stream Magic 6. I want to have better hi-rez / DSD capabilites and was thinking about the Sonore SonicOrbiter SE. Initially I would get the Sonore and utilize the DAC on the CA Stream Magic - I believe it has DACMagic in it. The CA DAC does not accept USB input - this is why I'm looking at the Sonic Orbiter, as opposed to the MicroRendu. In terms of the rest of my setup, I have all my audio files on my windows desktop and use Jriver Media Center and JRemote on my IPAD. I have Bryston B60 intergrated and Thiel CS 1.6 speakers. I'm assuming I can still use my Windows / JRiver / IPAD setup correct? One thing about the Cambridge I like is built in Pandora. I like to stream jazz and some classical at times. I know quality isn't great but I discover a lot of great new material. What is best way to play Pandora with the Sonore SonicOrbiter and my Cambridge DAC? Do I just bypass and get an external device and plug it into my amp? One other question. I do like how the Cambridge displays what is playing. I'm guessing that can't be transferred to something else? I should Just rely on the JRemote display on IPAD? thanks a ton!
