This setup in the bedroom has very limited space requirements, thus the single monitor instead of two.
It's Yamaha HS7 with xlr/trs inputs. At the moment, my connection looks like this:
rca outs left/right (m) =====> (f) rca/trs y-adapter =====> trs balanced in.
Sound is quite good. However on my first try, I used VIOY TRS Jack to 2 RCA Male Stereo Y Splitter Adapter and
it was very bad! I later learned/realized it was feeding right/left signals on ring/tip, so no wonder. Balanced input
circuit was doing its thing I guess.
Anyway, I'd love to hear from folks about other better ways to do this.
For instance, should I get a level converter such as ART CLEANBox Pro Dual Channel Level Converter (CLEANBOXPRO)?
Thanks for any suggestions or comments...
