I have beem working on a new music server and streamer. My main goal is to reduce cost and complexity in my systems while getting the best sound quality I can. Hello All, I am using Squeezelite on the SOSE and would like to configure Logitech Media Server also on the SOSE (as opposed to running the LMS on my Synology NAS). The issue I am having is the Media Folder will not hold the network UNC name (\\DISKSTATION\music]Music FLAC) for the folder on my NAS. The network device name and top level folder appear to take, but then when I click Apply it resets to the local storage setting. The IP address for the SOSE is in the whitelist on the NAS security. I've seen similar issues on the forum but have not found a solution. Any suggestions welcome! Based on streaming Spotify from the SOSE LMS, I feel the sound quality is better than using the NAS server. The SOSE and NAS are separated by ethernet over power network connection. So with the good sound from Spotify streaming I'm expecting better audio from my network FLAC music as well if I can get them connected... Thanks!
