Hey Guys, I've been into audio for the better part of 40 years. Having said that though, I'm a complete novice when it comes to computer-based audio. When I read most of the posts here at CA, my head is spinning from all the acronyms and techno-speak used, and I end up being more confused than ever. To me, you folks are speaking a completely different language that I can't seem to grasp. I was hoping that some of you may know of a book written for beginners that might help bring me up to speed on all this stuff. Thanks, Steve

Dear All, - Please note that the following post has been approved. - I am a reasonably active member of this wonderful and informative forum. I have recently self-published my autobiography, Life Is A Game and would love any interested members to read it. The book contains many interesting details about my life and my fantastic journey in making video games, which started in the UK way back in 1983 and continued in Turkey from the end of 2000! Included are many insights and anecdotes about popular games such as Ant Attack, Enduro Racer, Last Ninja 2, First Samurai, Street Racer, the wonderful Amiga, C64, ZXSpectrum, Nintendo SNES, Activision, Ubisoft... I have been getting amazing reactions already. Those of you who'd like to read an adventurous life story, and also grew up with computer games in the 80s and the 90s, would certainly find the book very intriguing. 'Life Is A Game' is available as eBook or paperback on Amazon, Barns&Noble, Waterstones and other online outlets. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1914078594/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tpbk_p1_i0 I do hope you read my book and share your thoughts. All the best. Mev Dinc
