WW Speaker cable question: bi-wire cable or 2 * standard cable

Here's my choice:

 

a/ Wireworld Silver Eclipse (SES) speaker cable * 2 OR

b/ Wireworld Gold Eclipse (GEB) bi-wired

 

cost-wise I'm indifferent about the two choices. (two single Golds (GES) seems a

'waste' right / or perhaps I should say a very marginal expected return)

 

So I'm planning on going for b/ - sensible?

 

 

Background: WW charges the ~same for their bi-wired as cable as they do for their standard cable. I've seen some bi-wired cable re-converted the single cable the used as part of a double single cable setup so I thought there must be a reason for going to this hassle and extra expense rather than just using the bi-wire alone, hence asking the question ...
