Kamakiriad: question about distortion

Hi-

 

I have Kamakiriad on DVDA, MVI DVDA and CD, and have a question for everyone...has anyone else noticed some low-end distortion in the song "Snowbound"? I have checked out all 3 versions, and it appears on every one. It begins to appear at the 14 and 25 second marks, and several other times during the song. It is most noticeable at lower volume, and more so when listening with headphones. Thanks for any replies .

driver (and some synth bass, etc) I think what I'm hearing at those marks are some chuffing or growl from one of the bass guitar or synth bass lines. That's what I hear, both stereo and mutlichannel.

 

 

No clipping but lots of energy! (24/96 DVD-A rip)
