dammerson
This may be a stupid question but if I'm using Pure Music instead of iTunes to render and play my audio files, can I stream it via WiFi without losing the bit-perfectness of the algorithm? Before I invest in an Airport Express and separate DAC for a remote system, I want to be sure that the sound quality won't be degraded from the performance I get on the host Mac. thanks! dammerson vaughan[br]producer, musician, computer audio devotee[br]MacBook Air ->Transparent USB cable ->Wyred4Sound DAC1 ->Transparent MusicLink Interconnects ->Schiit Audio LYR headphone amp ->Sennheiser HD650 headphones with ALO Audio/JenaLabs 18awg copper cryo treated braided hp cables = AWESOME Link to comment
realhifi
It does not stream the signal as Pure is spitting out via USB or however you are currently feeding your dac. In other words it will indeed be degraded (if you like Pure) by streaming through an Airport Express. David Link to comment
