But lately I've been on a serious Krautrock trip, esp. the more ambient 'spiritual' side of things, and one can't do much better than Popol Vuh IMO. Perhaps what the forum needs right now for some chill out. Timeless and essential. charlesphoto Posted April 4, 2020 Share Posted April 4, 2020 Fantastic comp compiled by Loyd Cole of my current favorite artist, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, who is a still prolific Krautrock pioneer from the Dusseldorf school, and possibly my favorite artist at the moment. This is a fantastic introduction to his more electronic side and continuation of his Cluster years; he also has many albums that are solo piano that are wonderful as well.
