It's a Mapleshade album so it has absolutely superlative sonics. If you are not used to listening to bluegrass it might be a bit much to jump into all at once. It's fantastic though. I stumbled across this that I hadn't listened to in a looong time. Definitely not typical fare here, but still awesome. Apparently Ron Carter even did a bass track for them (funny what you learn to appreciate later on.) The performances on this album are very good, but there are others I like better. However, I find myself listening to this version more than any other because it sounds stunning with headphones.
