audiophile65
I have a MacBook Pro with MAX (unstable), and I use iTunes 10. Two weeks ago, I have imported and converted a few FLAC files into AIFF files into my iTunes for the first time ever. I am getting ready to rip my first CDs into iTunes via MAX. Some of the CDs are gapless CDs, including some from Pink Floyd, The Alan Parsons Project, and The Moody Blues. Are there any settings that I need to be aware of in iTunes and MAX that will ensure of problem-free rips of these CDs? In other words, what needs to be "checked ON" or "checked OFF" in iTunes and MAX? Thanks for your help. Link to comment
mwheelerk
As far as I know this is controlled by iTunes during playback. For the albums in question with the Column Browser set in View select the album title in question and Get Info. Go to the Options tab. The last selection on the page is Part Of A Gapless Album and select Yes. That should take care of it. "A mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work if it is not open." Frank Zappa Link to comment
