I always thought this was a great recording on plain old redbook. Nice sparse recording, lots of space for the notes to bloom and "in-the-room" vocals. I'm looking forward to trying this one out then any of her other recordings on HDTracks, which doesn't stay so much with the Jazz genre. Has anyone tried this download yet? They look right when analyzed and, more importantly, sound great! In case you haven't seen, HDTracks is doing a 10% off deal until 5/31. The code is May10.
