Im interested if firstly any one who could comment of the sound quality and also if any one has used this cable for using as an extension like lead?
Uk regs will not allow this straight from a CU fuse box. So I used twin and earth from the CU to a socket then a plug with 15m od Belden 19364 to another socket for the component power cables.
I’ll freely admit if this was a mistake or the wrong use of this type of shielded cable, but the sound quality was not great at all!
The sound was more upfront which was a plus but at the same time there was a really ear aching mid range that became really unpleasant to listen to in a very short space of time!
My diy extension lead sounds far better, infact Ive gone back to using it!
