Offered here is a complete set of parts used to upgrade a wall outlet serving your audio system. I bought these through Amazon in September of last year, but have since reconfigured my system and only need one (identically equipped) outlet. The small screws in the photo are used to attach the "ears" on the receptacle to the wall plate. The two, long stainless-steel screws are used to mount the wall plate to the stud on one side or the other of the junction box holding the receptacle. The result of all this is a very firmly mounted outlet! The rhodium plating on the receptacle is thought to be the most conductive metal surface available.

The receptacle accepts both back-wiring and conductors wrapped around the screws, but be advised that getting 12 AWG conductors to fit around the screws is challenging. As always, do not attempt any job with 120-volt household wiring unless you know what you are doing!
