EAC with Windows 7

EAC used to work great with Windows XP. However it doesn't seem to work well with Windows 7. It keeps getting hung up. I've tried two computers and several CD burner drives.

 

Anyone know of another utility which burns as accurately as EAC did with Windows 7? I've tried ISO Magic and the discs burn but don't sound as good and they all have popping sound at the beginning of the first track so I think it's got problems or it's doing something to the data. Nero and Roxio seem to make little mistakes with the cue sheets etc and have other problems.
