I think op should just enjoy the music with perfectly functioning gear, Resale value? Who cares? He's already ahead of the game and his issue is trivial and easily resolved. Sold a black phonitor e with clear shiny scratches repaired with car touch up paint that the buyer was really pleased with, or as someone suggested a Sharpie but I find them too purpleish. Torx drivers are cheap, I mean really cheap. It was a fun and interesting read though...
