FYI - interesting read about comparisons between Sablon 2020 USB / Ethernet and Final Touch Audio USB / Ethernet cables here

I also did some quick a/b comparisons between the FTA ethernet and Sablon ethernet (between Uptone ER and sms-200 ultra neo) and it is close but in the end I also give the edge to the FTA ethernet.

Recently the owner of CelAudio tested about 20 brands of cables with quite a few switches. Their own nSwitch, Telegärtner M12 Switch Gold, Melco S100, enterprise-grade Extreme10G switch, two different H3C switches, EtherREGEN, and finally a switch from Ruijie Networks

Among those affordable cables, the winners turned out to be L-Cubic CAT8 and multiple flavors from Panduit.

IMHO HDBaseT 4K transmissions should require a much more stringent quality when compared to audio transmissions, Belden seemed to be able to deliver their claims with 2183R

To achieve HDBaseT 4K transmission that meets the gold standard (no more than one pixel error per billion pixels received), a cable must have adequate information capacity. This information capacity is bounded by the insertion loss of the cabling and the noise external to the cabling up to a certain frequency.

It is important to test the various brands of CAT cables available on the market, because only the best quality cables assure fault-free extension and proper operation according to specifications. The results of the tests we perform are continuously uploaded and made available on our webpage. Please note that we do not display data for tested CAT cables which do not pass our testing, we only list the test results for CAT cables we recommend.
