Innuos v's Naim Core with my setup.

Hi,

 

Currently I run a MacBook Pro into a Berkeley Alpha USB then into a NAIM DAC.

 

I'm looking at swapping out the MAC for one of the above file players.

 

The Alpha USB dramatically improved the sound of my system. If I use the Core, I can't use the Alpha, as it will connect straight through with a BNC SPIDF cable. (The NAIM has BNC inputs only)

 

If I use the Innuos , can I still use the Alpha USB to connect to the NAIM? & do you think the addition of the Alpha in the chain will be better than the direct connection from the Core to the NAIM?

Yes.

Don't know. You have to try it and find out for yourself.
