wgscott
I have a 2010 mini with 2Gig memory that came with it. I am considering upgrading to 4 or 8 gigs. I've typically had good luck from Ramjet. Link They want $220 for 8 gig of memory. I've seen people here recommend OWC. Theirs is only $146. Link Ramjet says "on-Stacked IC's: Ramjet uses a Non-stacked module for the 4GB DDR3-1066 module for the Mac Mini. The cheaper stacked IC variety of 4GB SO-DIMM draws more power, which increases heat and decreases battery life. Ramjet ONLY uses premium non-stacked chips." Is this any different from what OWC has, and is it important? Thanks in advance for the advice. Bill Link to comment
