johnnyturbo
hi- am running pure music/itunes. i have a moderate hearing loss in both ears that i would like to correct for in the digital realm (hearing aids just ruin the sound quality, though do 'correct' for the loss). can any one recommend a plug in equalizer program that will nicely handshake with pure music? i don't need anything with lots of bangs and whistles. thanks. johnnyturbo Link to comment
Bob Stern
In Pure Music, select File menu > Advanced Audio Setup > Audio Plugins. Click the first popup menu and you'll see about a dozen AU plugins built into OS X. The most helpful one probably is AUParametricEQ. Alternatively, AUFilter has 3 parametric EQ sections in a single plugin. johnnyturbo
i have followed instructions. how do i actually operate/engage the equalizer- selectively manipulate settings to accommodate for frequency losses; there is no spectrum analyzer interface to 'tune'. thanks again./ jt johnnyturbo Link to comment
